TVA Fuel Costs Now Adjusted Monthly

Beginning Oct. 1, the Tennessee Valley Authority – which provides electricity to Cherokee Electric Cooperative – will begin setting its Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) each month. TVA established the FCA to allow the utility to recover, when necessary, increases in purchased power and fuel-related costs.
