Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are your office hours?

We are open Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in Centre (lobby and drive thru) and Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Aroney (Aroney office is closed 12 -1 for lunch).

2. How do you determine the deposit amount and once it is paid, how long until I get power?

The deposit amount (either $150 or $300) is based on your credit. Once you complete your membership application, we will run a credit report to determine the deposit amount. Once the membership fee ($5), deposit, and service connection fee ($35) are paid, your power will be connected in 1 -3 business days.

3. How much is my bill and when is the last day to pay?

Your bill will show a Current Bill Due with the due date and amount. There will be a delinquent fee added if the payment is not made by the due date. If you have a past due balance, your bill will show a Previous Amount Due with a disconnect date in red. You are subject to be disconnected the following business day and a $10 fee is assessed if the past due balance is not paid in full before the cut list is printed on the disconnect date.

4. Will this payment be enough to keep my account from being disconnected?

You are subject to being disconnected for any past due amount. If you do not pay the past due balance in full before the cut list is run (the date in red on your bill), you will also be assessed an additional $10 fee.

5. Can I set my account up to be paid automatically each month?

Yes. We offer a bank draft option. You simply need to sign a form authorizing the draft each month (which will be drafted 2 – 3 days prior to the due date), and bring in or mail a voided check. There is no charge for this service.

6. Do you accept payment by phone?

Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover (debit or credit).
